The Blueflux Site Evaluation Assessment (SEA) and Report (SER) provides a broad scope evaluation of the people, process, technology, as well as, the model and finances required for a successful project.

Select below for details

  • Preliminary Project Assessment
  • Preliminary Project Proposal
  • Site-Evaluation & Reporting (SEA/SER)
  • Preliminary Engineering Designs
  • Financial Analyis and Contracting
  • Detailed Design. Build. Commission.

DEFINE THE PROJECT’S OVERVIEW OBJECTIVES AND CHALLENGES

The parties will define the project through a preliminary discovery process (discussion and a short survey). Blueflux will conduct a high-level assessment of the technical, operational and business requirements, and present recommendations. The parties will determine if the project meets acceptance criteria.

CREATE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)

The parties will work together to create an MOU. This legally non-binding document defines the project’s scope, timeline, and projected resource requirements. This framework document also defines each party’s objectives, as well as their roles and responsibilities, and defines next steps.

PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT WITH SOLUTION OPTIONS

The Site Evaluation Assessment (SEA) is a comprehensive data collection process performed by Blueflux and qualified Field Service engineers across multiple disciplines. The process delivers more than one solution option for consideration from a holistic point of view. The proposed site is thoroughly analyzed: infrastructure (civil engineering), Environmental (land, air, water studies, as well as weather patterns), and material sourcing (materials including fuels, as required). A Risk Profile is developed, including regulatory/permitting requirements and other financial considerations. An optional energy audit identifies immediate savings opportunities.
The first phase of the Site Evaluation Report (SER), is delivered in 4 to 12 weeks (depending on scope and complexity of the project). This comprehensive report defines the key parameters required to build the project, including macro/micro architectural plans for electrical, construction, commissioning, etc.

SELECT PLATFORM AND CREATE PROJECT BLUEPRINTS AND BUDGETS

Once a platform direction is approved by the client, Blueflux creates the necessry plans for all aspects of the build, assemble, site preparation, and installation of the project. Detailed engineering schematics are created (from enterprise to component level). Instructions and specifications for all aspects of the build and installation of the project are formulated, including power generation assets, transmission infrastructure, power management controls parameters, and detailed construction, assembly and commissioning plans. This Phase II of the Site Evaluation Report (SER) is delivered in 3 to 6 months weeks (depending on scope and complexity of the project)

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND CONTRACTING

Upon review and approval of the SER, and in tandum with Phase II of the SER creation, the parties will work together to create the necessary legal contracts for the project. These will define all aspects of the relationships between the parties, including costs, timing, and responsibilities, as well as purchase, lease and/or Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AND COMMISSIONING

Blueflux coordinates with the project owner, Field Services, and other on-site partners to implement the project in a phased implementation approach, and as per the terms and conditions as defined in the SER and contract. System performance and ongoing services and support governed by Service Level Agreement (SLA).

MICROGRID PROJECT FAQS

We are the designers/builders of near-green & true-green power generation, and power transmission systems. Our patented and proprietary platforms deliver unmatched capabilities and efficiencies. We engineer customized solutions that meet the unique requirements of each site, and sell on-demand electric power, primarily through Power Purchase Agreements.

We greatly reduce the power buyer’s financial and technical risk by managing all aspects of equipment performance, technology and security upgrades. Our continuous improvement model enables customers to future-proof their energy investment. Customers simply pay for the power they use.

Our advanced software and electronic controls remove the common problems of intermittency and reliability found in solar and wind-based power systems. Advanced controls enable a 100% utilization, and eliminate the need for costly storage systems.

Blueflux platforms are secure (blockchain & AI-based controls) to deliver safe, predictable power using a small faction of the space required by solar/battery-based power systems.

Power challenges exist in every corner, category, and market in the world. Our initial focus is on targeted industrial and commercial verticals, with the goal to build a few strategic relationships per vertical market/region. We are seeking projects that have limited access to, and/or high-cost power, or owners who want environmentally responsible power, while benefiting from the reliability and resilience of conventional generation. Other logistics and business criteria are available upon request.
Our role is to architect a stable, secure and future-proof power system that meets the defined power demands of the project. Our responsibility is to provide clean, safe and reliable on-demand power – 24/7/365. We manage all aspects of power generation and transmission up to the device, or grid handoff (if present).
We are seeking strategic partners who share our vision, passion and standards to change the way the world generates energy. We are looking for partners who have access/expertise within a defined vertical market. The partner’s role is to assist in developing markets through introductions, access to project financing, and management of local O&M (field services) partnerships.
The role of the project owner is to participate in the initial assessment phase, support local requirements (ie: permitting, licencing, local govt. relationships). Responsibilities include providing a safe and secure environment for personnel and equipment, prompt payment for power used.
5 Primary Project Criteria:
1. Sites with limited and/or high-cost power.
2. Accessible sites with local field service assets.
3. Stability and safety for personnel and equipment.
4. Growth potential – minimum ~50MW install base over 10 years.
5. Credit worthy payers.
6. Clients seeking superior green alternative energy solutions.

Microgrids are self-contained power systems, confined to a small geographic area, such as a school campus, resort complex, or business park. They intelligently manage multiple energy input sources (Distributed Energy Resources) such as solar, wind, hydro, and conventional systems to serve the ondemand needs of interconnected loads.

These autonomous, self-sufficient platforms eliminate typical power distribution losses inherent in centralized generation systems. Microgrids can be connected to the wide-area grid or function autonomously in “island mode”.

Advanced intelligent controls enable an ‘any-mix’ of input sources, allowing the system to choose and dynamically blend the optimal energy sources. And unlike grid-tied solar, this enables a 100% utilization of renewable sources, increasing system efficiency and lowering costly ‘fuel’ consumption.

The inherent flexibility also enables the system to accommodate expansion and new technologies – effectively future-proofing the platform.

Blueflux Alliance Partners have the opportunity to…
  • Earn good revenue from up to 3 roles; sales, financing, and O & M (field services).
  • Serve a define geography, or vertical market with a superior green energy solution.
  • Gain access to a world-class innovation team who can solve difficult power and water system problems with proprietary/customized solutions.
  • Represent green energy technologies that are unmatched in the market, enabling customers to make significant improvements in their power cost, reliability and climate stewardship.
  • Be a part of dedicated team of professionals on a mission to eradicate pollution in the quest for energy.
